For CQC-regulated independent health and social care providers
Know how your next CQC inspection will go before it happens.
An experienced ex-CQC inspector, acting as a Verivius consultant, reads the actual records inside your Verivius account, runs one or two days of fieldwork on site, and gives you their professional judgment in writing: a provisional view against the five CQC key questions (safe, effective, caring, responsive, well-led), every finding cited to a record, an action plan that lands inside your improvement actions ready to use, and a three-month follow-up check after the engagement closes.
50% off for 12 months. Mock Inspection at the design-partner rate.
How it works
01
We read your platform
We work from the actual records inside your Verivius account: incidents, complaints, safeguarding cases, statutory notifications, your monthly governance reports and your documents. No questionnaires. No retrospective Q&A.
02
We assess against the five CQC key questions
Safe, effective, caring, responsive, well-led. The six evidence categories. The consultant judges what an actual CQC inspector would judge.
03
You get the consultant's judgment in writing
A written report from someone who has done the real version of this work inside CQC. Provisional ratings on each key question, with every finding cited to a record in your account. The action plan writes straight into your improvement actions, ready to assign and track.
The full methodology, including the six-week shape, the seven phases, the evidence framework, and the factual-correction window, is published at verivius.co.uk/methodology. About 12 minutes to read; the engagement letter references it at clause 2.2.
A fictional sample final report (Springvale Surgical Clinic, the same provider used in our year-one case study) is at sample-mock-inspection-report.pdf. About 12 pages; shows what £3,500 actually buys.
A Mock Inspection sits alongside the daily Verivius platform. The platform handles your incidents, complaints, statutory notifications, and the evidence trail every day; the Mock Inspection is a once-a-year consultant-led calibration. Read what Verivius actually does for the platform context, or see the design-partner terms if you are joining the first cohort.

Frequently asked
Is this a CQC inspection?
No. This is a pre-inspection assessment by an ex-CQC inspector engaged as a Verivius consultant, working from your records. The provisional rating is the consultant's professional judgment. A real CQC inspection may reach different conclusions.
How long does it take?
Eight to ten working days of consultant time across a four to six week calendar window.
Who is the consultant?
Either an ex-CQC inspector, or a senior quality manager from the independent care sector with deep inspection experience. In every case the consultant is engaged by Verivius, not by CQC. The consultant is named in your engagement letter before any work begins.
What if we do not agree with the rating?
You get a 14-calendar-day factual-accuracy review window on the draft report. Factual errors are corrected. The consultant's professional judgment on the rating itself is not negotiable.
What happens to our data?
Your data stays inside your account. The consultant is given a limited Viewer access for the duration of the engagement and loses it the day the engagement closes.
Verivius Mock Inspections are not endorsed, certified or approved by the Care Quality Commission. Provisional ratings are the consultant's professional judgment. Only the CQC issues regulatory ratings.
